CMH Bike brake caliper piston spreader - 3 widths

Quickly and easily pushes brake caliper pistons back into their bore during service.

The standard 26mm version has been successfully tested with 4-piston brakes and is suitable for all top loading 2-piston brakes, including Shimano calipers that accept K or L pads.

The narrower 19 mm version is suitable for calipers that are not top-loading and have a smaller top opening, such as low-end Shimano calipers that take B pads, or Magura 4-piston calipers that have individual openings for each pair of pistons.

The widest, 36 mm, fits larger 4-piston calipers. Please note that it will not fit some SRAM brakes whose brake pad opening is concealed from the top. In this case, we recommend sticking to the 26mm version, which works with all 4-piston calipers currently tested.
