This tool is recommended for removing seals from suspension forks. Originally designed for tire removal, this tool couldn't have been better designed to removing fork seals. It has a flattened surface where it sits on the seal head to keep it stable (and prevent scratching), and has a rounded end to protect the inside of the seal head from damage.
