With the Singlespeed chain tensioner every frame with vertical dropouts and derailleur hanger can be converted to Singlespeed.
Due to the spring tension the arm keeps the tension on the chain and the pulley axle can be adjusted to optimize the chain line.
The chain retention hoop prevents from chain derailment.
