Two-in-one bleed and maintenance block, exposing the caliper pistons for cleaning.
This is a block similar to the bleed block, but with one side stepped, so that when you "pump" the brake lever, the piston is allowed out but is stopped before it exits the caliper.
- Install the block and pump the brake lever until the piston makes contact with the block.
- You can remove the block and clean the piston with alcohol, then apply a little mineral oil to the side and push the piston back in.
- On a 4-pistons caliper, push back the 2 pistons on the same side simultaneously or one after the other using the appropriate CMH tool.
- Reinstall the block the other way round and repeat the processto clean and lubricate the other piston.
Unlike the yellow Shimano blocks, the CMH bleed blocks are inserted from the top, they are easier to install and do not risk falling during bleeding.
Compatible with V4 callipers.
